Licensing Program Analyst, Seung Lee conducted an unannounced annual random site inspection to ensure the health & safety standards as required by regulations governing family child care homes. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Nomin Erdene Badamsabuu and toured the facility. There were 11 children present along with 1 assistant. Individuals residing in the home are the licensee, licensee's sister and licensee's spouse. Licensee’s operating hours are Monday to Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM.

This large family child care home consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 restrooms, kitchen, dining room, backyard and living room. The off limits areas: 3 bedrooms and 2 restrooms upstairs, kitchen, dining room, parts of the backyard including a detached garage used for storage. Areas used by children are in the living room, 1 bedroom downstairs, 1 bathroom downstairs. and parts of the backyard which includes a detached garage.



Licensee has the Parent’s Rights poster and other appropriate forms posted on wall in the living room. First Aid/CPR certificate are valid thru 07/2026. The date on the card notes Licensee stated she has practiced fire/emergency drills with day-care children on 12/04/2024, providing LPA with disaster drill log. Licensee has a working telephone.

Detergents and cleaning supplies were inaccessible. Fire extinguisher located near the kitchen was observed to be serviced in the last year. Tag on extinguisher notes 03/21/2024. There is an operational smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in the home that were tested during the inspection. The home has electrical outlet covers throughout and maintains a First Aid Kit. There are adequate age appropriate toys, books, and games. There are no firearms present on the premises as stated by licensee. There are no pools or spas, or other bodies of water. No pets are in the home per Licensee.

The following were discussed: Individuals who are 18 years of age or older living in the home must be finger print cleared prior to being in the presence of the children in care. Individuals within one month of their 18th birthday must be fingerprinted immediately. No smoking, No infant walkers, No baby bouncers, No Johnny jumpers, No exersaucers and any other item that falls into that category. LPA discussed disaster drills, posting requirements, children records requirements, mandated child abuse and injury/death reporting.

Assistant and Children's files were reviewed during this inspection.

LPA reviewed SIDs, Never Shake A Baby, and safe sleeping practices. Infants should sleep mouth up, on their backs, free of clutter surrounding their sleeping space. No Deficiencies cited during this inspection.

Incidental Medical Services are not provided at this time. Licensee was informed to contact the department 30 days prior to enrolling any child with IMS needs. LPA advised licensee to refer to Section 101173 and 101226 for further information on regulatory requirements. LPA advised the Licensee to access forms and regulations on line at: www.ccld.ca.gov



The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213)must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
