32 | The preschool program will have (3) designated outdoor space. The first outdoor space was observed located directly behind classroom 1. The second outdoor space was observed located behind classroom 2. Per Director, the preschool children will have access to the outdoor space located in the courtyard for bike riding. All outdoor areas were observed surrounded by fencing. All play areas were observed to have adequate shading provided via canopies. All areas around or under high climbing equipment, and slides were observed to have cushion material to absorb a fall.
Facility will prepare snacks and lunches on site for the children in care. The kitchen was observed located next to infant classroom. The children will not have access to the kitchen. Food will be brought into each classroom.
No transportation will be provided by the facility.
Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
