Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an unannounced annual random inspection on this date. Upon arrival LPA Lee met with Licensees Yelena Khachatryan & Macario Marquez who were present with 11 children. Facility's current operating hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm.

This large child care home resides in a 1 story home that consists of a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and backyard. The back yard is currently not being used per Licensee. Care is be provided in the Living room, 1 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and parts of the backyard. Off limits area includes parts of the backyard including the detached garage, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and kitchen.

The large family child care home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. There are age appropriate toys and napping equipment on the premises. Per Licensee there are no firearms or pets in the home. No bodies of water was observed during the inspection.

Licensee's CPR and first aide expires 04/2026. LPA observed a operational smoke and carbon monoxide detector located in the living room. Fire extinguisher is located near the front entrance with a service tag date of 04/18/2024. Last disaster/fire drill with children was conducted on 02/14/2025 per drill log posted.

LPA reviewed Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Shaken Baby Syndrome, and safe sleep practices with applicant. *Infants should always sleep on their backs, mouths facing up, light bedding.*

Children’s records were reviewed for (LIC) 282- Affidavit Regarding Liability Insurance, Immunization's Records, LIC 700- Identification and Emergency Information, LIC 627- Consent for Medical Treatment, and LIC 995A Notification of Parents’ Rights.

Licensee is caring for infants. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02- CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. There were no deficiencies cited during this inspection.

The notice of site inspection must remain posted for a period of 30 days during hours of operation. Failure to maintain posting will result in a civil penalty of $100.00 dollars.
