25 | On 06/19/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariah Aguirre conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by licensee, Alma Salaiza who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 7 children in care. Per licensee there are 19 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 8:00AM to 7:00AM. Per Licensee, there are 4 adults living in the home.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Area's accessible to children in care are the living room, one bedroom used for napping, back yard, and kitchen. Areas inaccessible to children are the front yard, garage (used as a bedroom for licensee’s two adult children),one bathroom located in the garage, one bathroom located in the home, and two other bedrooms in the home.
LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in bedroom #3. Pack and Plays are available for child under 2, and cots and pack and plays are available for children over 2. Per Licensee, they provide bedding and it is washed at the home every Friday. Per licensee there are no bodies of water on the premises, LPA did not observe any. Per licensee there is one small pet dog, that remains in an off-limits area during hours of operation. At the time of inspection, LPA MAguirre did not observe a completed 15-minute sleep log for infant in care. Per licensee, they were not aware that a 15-minute sleep log must be kept until the infant turns 2 years of age. As a result, one type B citation was issued at the time of inspection.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides Breakfast, Lunch, and AM/PM snack. Per licensee, she is not a part of a food program. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and functioning Carbon Monoxide detector, as well as a working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced at the time of inspection.
