25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced case- management inspection to the above facility on 10/28/24 due to licensee request to ensure the program has been licensed based on Title 22 Regulation requirement. LPA arrived at the facility at 8:40 AM and met with licensee, Zarui Yerkanyan who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. A COVID 19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. There is also a licensed preschool program (198021359) located on the same premises. Per licensee, the facility operation hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. The infant program consists one one classroom. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including small tables, chairs, cubbies, 3 cribs, 17 napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard. Drinking water is available in the classroom via water pitcher. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property.
Changing tables have at least 1” padding covered with moisture-resistant, washable material. Sides of the changing table are at least 3” high and the changing table is within arm’s reach of a sink. Diapering sink is not used for meal preparation or dishwashing. Crib area is separated from activity space via cubbies. This barrier is at least four feet high.
The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area which is separate from other components.
Per licensee, parents sign in/out children in the main entrance prior to enter the facility.
Per licensee, infants drop off to the designated teacher in the main entrance area, and teacher take the infant to the infant classroom by walking through preschool outdoor playarea to enter infant classroom. REPORT CONTINUES ON NEXT PAGE 1 of 2 |
