25 | On June 13, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an announced Prelicensing Inspection. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. LPA met with applicants, Maribel and Dennise Sandoval who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a 2 story home with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, laundry room, detached garage, front yard and fenced in rear yard. Days and hours of operation will be Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Main care is provided: Front living room, dinning room, bedroom #2, bathroom #1 and rear yard.
Off limit areas: Bedroom #1, #3-#6, kitchen, bathroom #2-4, detached garage and rear yard located after day care yard
The children and parents with enter through front door. The infants will sleep in the bedroom #2 and will be placed in cribs during nap time. Applicants were reminded to keep the bedroom door open while children are sleeping. The fenced outside play area is free from defects or dangerous conditions.
Per Applicant, there are no weapons or firearms on the premise. LPAs did not observe any in the home. There are age-appropriate toys (dramatic play area). Age appropriate napping equipment (mats and cribs).
The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) and smoke detector are in operable condition. The home has a Carbon Monoxide detector. Home has central AC and heat. The applicants have current first aid and cpr training. The applicants have current Mandated Reporter training's.
