Facility will provide AM/PM snacks and lunch. There is a fully functioning kitchen located next to the office area which will keep inaccessible to children via a closed door. The kitchen area currently includes refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, and food prep countertop. The kitchen area and food storage areas were observed free of rodents and/or vermin. Food was observed to be properly stored separate from cleaning materials. Hazardous items in kitchen are inaccessible to children by being stored in the upper cabinets.
This facility currently has a fully fenced playground area located adjacent to the facility and in the rear of the facility. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 5,633.57 square footage, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity increase. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. Drinking water is available via children personal water bottles and filter water jugs. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Applicant representatives was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.
Licensee representatives was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
No corrections are needed. Upon a final file review, a license will be granted to serve 68 preschool children from ages 2 to 6 years old in (6) classrooms: 1,2,3, 4, 7, and 13.

A notice of site visit was given to Licensee Representative, Ani Saghatelyan and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. |
