25 | On Tuesday May 12,2026, a Case Management - visit was conducted for a complaint received in the RO Regional Office on 5/4/26 upon arrival, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kamile Martin (KMartin) was greeted by teacher Denise Torres, who informed LPA that director Elaina was not available but gave her a phone call. LPA spoke with Director and she states she has 2 staff out and she is on pick up duty and has children to pick up at 2:30. Director asked if she can possibly have LPA come back after her pickup or another day. It was agreed to come back on another day. While preparing to leave for the day Director Elaine Davis asked if LPA could come back to the facility she had arranged pick up for the children. LPA arrived and went on a guided tour of the facility. Census was taken and LPA Martin observed 6 Children in care at the preschool side at arrival with 1 staff and 17 at the school age arrived after school. More children arrived in the preschool area bringing the total to 17 for preschool side. Per director there are currently 66 children enrolled a copy of the facility roster was obtained. Operation hours are M-F 6:00am -6:00pm.
During LPA’s observation files for staff were reviewed and staff have current CPR and AB1267 Mandated Reporter training. LPA KMartin received a copy of the facility roster. Director was interviewed during this inspection.
Exit interview conducted with Director Elain Davis and a copy of this report was provided to Appeal rights were provided and explained.
Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 consecutive days.
Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100 civil penalty.
