25 | On Monday September 21, 2026 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Joanne Solorio Campos conducted an unannounced annual inspection and initially met with Director Chiara Angelicola who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a program that serves children ages 2 to 6 years old and consists of 2 classrooms. The program operates Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:45pm. There are currently 29 children enrolled. LPA observed 24 children and 4 staff present. All areas identified on the facility sketch were toured and inspected both indoors and outdoors.
Sign in and out takes place at the main entrance area electronically through the Brightwheel app. Director stated no firearms, weapons, poisons nor bodies of water are located in the premises and LPA did not observe any of the above-mentioned. Director stated that they do not have any children with severe food allergies nor medication. LPA observed the ill isolation area to take place in the Director’s office and utilize the staff restroom.
The following documents were posted in a prominent, publicly accessible area at the facility: Facility License, Notification of Parents' Rights (PUB 393), Personal Rights (LIC 613A), Menu, and Earthquake Preparedness (LIC 9148). PUB 269 Child Passenger System Poster, and Daily Schedule.
LPA entered the classrooms and observed furniture, manipulatives, toys, art materials, and books made accessible to the children to be age-appropriate and free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. LP observed the facility to have a cubby for children to store their personal belongings in the entrance area. Children bring their own water bottles and refill as needed via filtered water. LPA observed mats for napping equipment. Licensing staff observed trash bins inside and outside the classroom. LPA observed the children’s two restrooms, located in the classroom to have working toilets, sinks, hand soap dispenser and paper towels. During time of inspection, LPA did not observe any cleaning solutions stored in the classrooms as they are stored in the off-limits kitchen.
