25 | On 07/30/26, at 1:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Perry Scott conducted an unannounced annually required inspection visit to Healing Hands Residential Care. LPA was met by Norriise Hoxey, Administrator, and the purpose of today’s visit was explained. The facility is licensed to serve six (6) elderly adults aged 60 and over. Approved for six (6) non-ambulatory, of which one (1) may be bedridden in room #1. A waiver was granted for hospice care of four (4) residents. Currently, the home has (3) residents. The facility’s annual fees are past due. The annual fees were due on 07/11/2026 for $495.00. Fees that are past due are subject to penalties.
The facility is a single-story structure located in a residential neighborhood. It consists of four (4) bedrooms rooms, one and ½ (1.5) bathrooms, living area, dining area, kitchen, outside sitting area, laundry room, and an attached garage used for storage.
At 1:40pm, LPA and staff toured the facility. There are no bodies of water or firearm/ammunition on the premises. All resident rooms were checked. Beds and bedding were in good condition, adequate lighting provided, and adequate storage for resident’s personal belongings was observed. Walls and floors were in good repair. Bed linens, comforters, and bath towels were adequately stocked at the time of visit. Bathrooms were found to be within Title 22 regulations. Toilets and water faucets worked properly. The shower was free of mold/mildew, there was adequate lighting, and sufficient toiletries were accessible to residents. The water temperature was within title 22 regulations. A comfortable temperature is maintained in the facility.
