25 | On February 26, 2025, at 12:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Assistant -Gabriella Gutierrez. There are 13 children enrolled, and 6 children present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared. License, earthquake disaster checklist, disaster plan, and PUB 394 posted. Assistant does have a current disaster log drill with the date of 1/13/25. Assistant does have current LIC 9040 (facility roster).
This is a single-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, 2 living rooms, a detached garage, front yard, and fenced backyard (fenced). The off-limit areas include 2 bedrooms, 1-bathroom, detached garage, and front yard. The home has a HVAC system.
The main care area is in the living room. LPA observed baby cribs, recliner, couch, and stool seats. The laundry room is adjacent to the main care area and has a lock. There are child sized tables, and child sized chairs also in the main care area.
Bedroom #1 has sleeping mats stored in the closet with other learning materials. There is an area rug, a cubby for toys, dramatic play, mounted TV, a shelf with storage bins for toys, books, a small table with chairs, and a wall mounted television.
The kitchen area is inaccessible to children with baby gates blocking off the entry. The cleaning supplies are stored in the cabinet underneath the sink with safety latch making it inaccessible to children in care. All cabinets and drawers (including knife drawer) have safety latches making it inaccessible to children.
The Bathroom #1 has a working toilet and sink. The cabinets have a safety latch making it inaccessible to children.
