Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an unannounced required inspection. Upon arrival LPA Lee met with Director Hye Joung who provided a tour of the facility. The infant license consists of 1 classroom. This program is located in the same facility as the preschool license (198400188). Hours of operation is Monday- Friday 7:30AM-6:00PM.

The following was observed. 3 staff members with 3 infants in the infant room.

LPA Lee inspected the infant classroom. and observed age appropriate equipment, toys, and furniture. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. LPA observed a separate napping area with cribs in the infant classroom. Changing table was observed to be within arms length of the sink. During the inspection LPA Lee discussed safe sleeping practices with the Director. LPA reviewed SIDs, Never Shake A Baby, and safe sleeping practices. Infants should sleep mouth up, on their backs, free of clutter surrounding their sleeping space.

The outdoor space for the infant program was inspected for age appropriate equipment, cushioning, and to be hazard free. The infant program's outside play area is located in the rear of the facility and was observed to be separated from the outdoor space used by the preschool program. The kitchen was inspected by LPA Lee. Trash can with tight fitting lid was observed. Breakfast and lunch are provided by the facility and served to infants who are old enough to consume the meals. All preparation areas were observed to be clean and in order. There is sufficient storage and cabinet space for supplies. A facility menu was observed to be posted on the wall of the kitchen.

Director's CPR was observed to be current with an expiration date of 02/2025 Staff and children's records were reviewed.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. No deficiencies were cited during the inspection.

The notice of site inspection must remain posted for a period of 30 days during hours of operation. Failure to maintain posting during business hours will result in a civil penalty of $100.00 dollars.
