25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Franchesca White arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced annual random inspection. LPA White announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry to the facility by Licensee Jessieka Dorlus. There are 7 children enrolled, and 6 present at the time of inspection. There are 2 adults in the home and 2 out 2 have current criminal background clearance. The ages of the children served in this home are infant to 13 years of age. The hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The following documents were observed on the Parents Board and/or available at the time of inspection:
the License, Parents Rights, Emergency Disaster Plan, Earthquake Preparedness, Disaster Drill Log with more recent drill conducted December 19, 2025, and the facility Roster was current at the time of inspection.
All life saving devices were inspected and found to be operable at the time of inspection. The 2A 10BC full charged Fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen with a service tag dated 4/15/26. The dual smoke detector/carbon monoxide is located in the hallway of the home. There is a working phone in the home.
This is a single story home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, front yard, back yard and an unattached garage. Areas used as main care areas is Bedroom #3, Bathroom #2, the back yard, and the living room as an isolation space for sick children only. The areas that are off limits to children and parents are the kitchen bedrooms 1 and 2, the front yard, and the detached garage. Licensee was reminded that the department has the inspection authority to observe all areas of the home. All areas listed on the facility sketch as main care areas were inspected for the health, safety, heating, and ventilation for the children.
