Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Randy Derraco and Anthony Padilla conducted a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection to the above mentioned facility on 02/22/24. LPAs arrived at the facility at 12:30 and was met by licensee, Kristin Williams, who guided analysts on a tour of the home. LPAs observed 11 children in care, 3 of which are infants. LPAs also observed 2 additional adults whom have criminal background clearance and associated to the facility roster. The home was observed to be in compliance with TItle 22 regulations at time of inspection.

The purpose of this visit is to observe corrections made to citation issued on 01/17/24. LPAs observed 1 napping infant in a crib located in a bedroom designated for care. Four total cribs were observed in the bedroom. An empty baby bassinet was also observed in the bedroom. Per licensee, children do not sleep in the bassinet. Licensee and staff use the bassinet to stage children that are ready for a diaper change. LPAs reminded licensee that children napping in cribs or playpens are not allowed to have any additional loose objects other than a pacifier. Pacifier cannot be attached to a string or leash. Licensee states infants that are able to hold their own bottle are given one to help them sleep if needed. Licensee and staff members understand that infants that drink out of a bottle prior to sleeping must have bottle removed from the crib when the infant falls asleep. Licensee states that she and her staff constantly observe children drinking out of bottles prior to them falling asleep. A Plan of Correction letter was generated for the licensee during the visit.

An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with licensee, Kristin Williams.
