13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeanette Estrada and Jonnisha Culbert conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. LPA met with Licensee Dr. Linda Johnson and informed her of the reason for the visit. Upon arrival LPAs observed four infants with one staff in the infant room and five toddlers and two staff in the toddler room.
LPAs observed Licensee Dr. Linda Johnson in the toddler classroom with Staff 1. LPAs were provided with a transcript for Staff 1. Transcript was not clear. Licensee verbally confirmed that Staff 1 does not meet the educational requirements and was observed assisting with care on 3/26/24 and today, 4/9/24. During today's inspection, Licensee called parents to pick up children in the toddler classroom.
The preponderance of evidence has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be substantiated.
California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1), are being cited on the attached LIC 9099D.
Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report and appeal rights were provided to the Licensee, Dr. Linda Johnson. The notice of site visit was posted where the parent/guardian of children enter and exit the facility. |
