On 1/12/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Estrada conducted an unannounced inspection. LPA rrived at the facility at 9:23 am and initially met with assistant director Blanca Palacios. LPA intitially observed four children and two staff in the infant room and four children and one staff in the toddler room.

During this visit LPA was informed that one child in the toddler room is currently enrolled in the preschool license 198400296 and is not part of the infant license.

At 9:38AM Staff 3 moved to the preschool classroom with two preschool children as one other child had just arrived.

The facility is being cited a type B deficiency for Title 22 Regulation 101161(a) limitations on capacity.

Exit interview conducted with Licensee Dr. Linda Johnson. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Per Licensee the preschool staff will be in the preschool room with preschool children. Director will provide a written statement for the plan for preschool staff.

This requirement is not met as evidenced by based on interview and observation the Licensee did not ensure that the children present during today's inspection met the limitations on the license. LPA observed a child who is enrolled in the preschool license, in the toddler classroom. This poses a potential risk to children in care.
