| The home is observed to be clean and orderly. There are toys and other age appropriate material available for children. LPA observed that detergents, cleaning compounds are in the kitchen cabinet inaccessible to children.
Children are using the back yard for outdoor play. The outdoor play area was observed to be fenced and free of hazards. LPA observe a play structure with cushioning underneath. The meter and water heater were observed to the made inaccessible by fence.
No bodies of water observed on the premise, There are no pets at this time. Isolation area for sick children waiting to be picked up is in living room, away from the other children. Per Licensee there are no firearms or weapons stored in the home.
Licensee does have a qualified assistant for the increased capacity.
LPA discussed the following:
- The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day.
- Capacity limitation of a Large FCC and provided capacity worksheets for large child care homes.

Based on today’s observation a capacity increase will be granted upon Licensing Program Manager (LPM) approval.
At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no deficiencies being issued today.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days.
