Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) T. Tran arrived at Herrera Head Start to conduct a Case Management inspection that was self-reported on 09/13/2022 regards a personal rights concern for a child in care. About 12:20PM, LPA was greeted by teacher Linda Cadena and we toured the facility. LPA observed proper care and supervision. About 12:40, Jenny Acosta, Program Administrator arrived at the center to support LPA.

Staff and child files were reviewed. LPA obtained the personnel report, child’s document, and other document. LPA conducted interviews with staff Due to insufficient information available at this time, the above allegations need further investigation.

No deficiency was cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Jenny Acosta.
