25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on May 19, 2025. LPA arrived at the facility at 12:30PM, identified self, and met with Jonathan Torres Castro, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA provided Licensee with a copy of the LIC 126 Entrance Checklist to help facilitate the inspection. LPA observed that also present during this inspection, was Tanya Padilla and Omar Torres, Licensee’s Assistants. Per Licensee, they currently have two assistants. LPA observed 5 children upon arrival. There are 19 children that are currently enrolled. A current LIC9040 children’s roster was available for review. Per Licensee, operation hours are 5:00am to 4:00am Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday. Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed. This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, den, front yard, and backyard (fenced) and detached garage converted into apartment for the assistant. The children use the bathroom in the hallway near kitchen. The restroom that children use was observed to be safe and sanitary. Children use the living room for activities, and bedroom #1, and bedroom #2, front yard and back yard fenced. LPA observed that the outdoor yard has toys and other materials for children to play with. LPA did not observe any objects that can pose a danger to children on the outdoor yard. LPA did not observe any infant walkers, baby bouncers, inclined chairs, baby saucers, or any similar items at the facility. Safe toys play equipment and materials were observed. All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 1 bedroom, den, detached garage, kitchen. The licensee provides food for children in care. Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home. Per licensee, there is one large dog on the premises that is inaccessible to children in care during operation hours. LPA did not observe any pools, spas, hot tubs, fishponds, or similar bodies of water during the |
