13 | Licensing program analyst (LPA) Randy Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 03/13/23. LPA arrived at the facility at 9:30 AM and met with licensee, Mario Amaro, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA observed an assistant and two children in care. The purpose of this visit is too deliver complaint findings to the licensee. The home was observed to be clean and in good repair.
During the course of the investigation, LPA reviewed documents, made observations, and conducted interviews. LPA was unable to corroborate that the Licensee handled children in a rough manner and that the licensee hit a child in care. LPA was unable to qualify any child during interviews due to age of the child and their ability to speak. Parents interviewed disclosed that they did not have any concerns with how their child is being treated at day care and that they would, or have, recommended this day care to their family and friends. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
