25 | On March 27, 2025, at 1:15p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Co-Licensee - Iris Amaya. There are 11 children enrolled, and 5 children present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 12:00am-12:00am. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared. License, earthquake disaster checklist (LIC9148), disaster plan (LIC610A), and PUB 394 posted. The Licensee does have current LIC 9040 (facility roster). A current drill log with last drill conducted on 2/18/25.
This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining room, living room, laundry room/shed, fenced front yard and backyard. The off-limit areas include 1 bedroom, laundry room/shed, and back yard. Wall mounted AC and heater used for ventilation.
LPA Dunlap observed the main care is which is the living room area that has 1 couch, dramatic play items, cubbies, large area rug, and age-appropriate toys, and mounted TV. There is a gate at the entrance of the kitchen and at the entrance of hallway area making it inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed all furnishings, equipment, and material to be in good condition.
LPA Dunlap observed the kitchen area to have safety latches on drawers and cabinets making it inaccessible to children in care. The knives are stored in a high cabinet.
LPA Dunlap observed dining room area which has age- appropriate tables and chairs, and 1 highchair. There is a gate blocking off entry into the kitchen area making it inaccessible to children in care. Page 1 of 5
