25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted a Required Annual Inspection on this date. Upon arrival at 11:00am LPA met with Facility Representative (FR) Gonzalo Placencia, Assistant, and provided the inspection Entrance Checklist, LIC 126. Licensee provided tour of the facility. LPA inspected rooms/areas on the facility sketch in which child-care services are provided and to which children have access, as well as off limit areas. Per licensee the hours of operation are Monday-Sunday 3pm-10pm. Overnight care regulations discussed. There were no daycare children present during inspection. Licensee's infant was present. Adults present have been cleared and associated. Individuals residing in the home were discussed and noted.
This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom living room, den/daycare room (in the rear of home), , kitchen, detached garage, front and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
Areas used by children include: Daycare Room, bathroom, kitchen, living room with dining area, backyard and front yard.
Areas off limits include: 2 bedrooms, detached garage, laundry room.
LPA provided Publication 394- Notification of Parent Rights to FR who posted in the at entrance to home. FR was advised to post the required posted documentation in a location visible to parent/guardians of children in care. Including Licensing Form (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form. LPA reviewed completed facility records including; LIC 9040- Facility Roster, LIC 610- Facility Disaster Plan and updated facility sketch. The facility provides meals and snacks for children in care. Proper storage and was discussed.
