Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 11/02/23. LPA arrived at the facility at 9:45 AM and was met by Director Claudia Ceballos, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During the tour, LPA observed 27 children in care and 9 adults caring for the children. LPA observed the facility to be clean and free of defects. The purpose of this visit is to deliver complaint findings.

During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. Individuals interviewed did not corroborate the allegation that staff touched daycare children inappropriately while in care. LPA observed the parent handbook which does not indicate specifically that staff shall or shall not share food with children in care. An allergy list was observed in the infant classroom above the sink, indicating which child is allergic to specific types of food. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
