13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 12/19/23. LPA was met by Director, Charlotte Giles, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During the inspection, LPA observed 7 total adults and 27 children in care. The center was observed to be clean and free of defects.
During the inspection, LPA conducted interviews, review records and obtained a roster. Interviews conducted indicate that the preschool co-director (S2) self reported the incident that a child wandered away from the child care due to lack of supervision on 12/04/23. S1 (Co-Director) confirmed the incident occured on 12/04/23 by observing video camara footage of the incident. Based on LPA's observations and interviews conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 and Chapter 1, Article 6, Section 101229(a)(1) are being cited on the attached LIC 9099D.
