Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) R. Derraco and A. Padilla conducted an unannounce complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 03/20/24. LPAs arrived at the facility at 10:15 AM and was met by Co-Director Ilse Gonzales Morales. LPA observed 33 children playing in the outdoor activity space and they were being observed by 6 total adults. The facility was observed to be clean and free of defects. LPAs observed Director Charlotte Giles arriving to the facility at 11:30 am and continueing the visit

The purpose of this visit is to deliver findings to the above mentioned allegations. Individuals interviewed did not corroborate the allegation that staff members hit a child causing an injury. Additional attempts to interview individuals were made, however were unsuccessful. Individuals interviewed did not corroborate the allegation that staff speaks inappriatley to children in care. During the investigation, LPA observed staff using redirection for children exhibiting difficult behavior. LPA also observed staff members raising their voice in order to get the attention of the group of children during play time. Although the allegation may have

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
