25 | On April 29, 2025, at 1:00p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Licensee- Cleonna Arrington. There are 5 children enrolled, and 3 children present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday- Sunday from 12:00am-12:00pm. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared. License, earthquake disaster checklist (LIC9148), disaster plan, and PUB 394 posted. The Licensee does have current LIC 9040 (facility roster) A disaster drill log with last drill conducted on 2/19/25.
This is a one story home that consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, detached garage, front yard and fenced back yard. The off limit areas include 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, detached garage and front yard.
The living room area is the main care area. LPA Dunlap observed the area to have sectional couch, highchair. area rug, TV, manipulative play, dramatic play, age-appropriate toys and age-appropriate table and chairs. LPA observed all furnishings, equipment, and material to be in good condition.
LPA Dunlap observed the kitchen area is accessible to children. The cabinets and drawers have safety latches making hazardous materials inaccessible to children in care. The knives are stored on top of the refrigerator making them inaccessible to children in care.
LPA Dunlap observed the back room. There is a TV, cabinet drawers, playpen, and daybed. LPA observed all furnishings, equipment, and material to be in good condition.
