25 | On May 28, 2025, at 12:35p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Licensee- Aquila Johnson. There are 2 children enrolled, and 1 child present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 6:00am-11:00pm. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared. License, earthquake disaster checklist (LIC9148), and PUB 394 posted. The Licensee has a current disaster plan (LIC610A), LIC 9040 (facility roster), and a disaster drill log with last drill conducted on 1/7/25.
This is a one story home that consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room/Kitchen, laundry area, garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The off limit areas include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, dining room/kitchen, and laundry area.
The second living room area is the main care area. LPA Dunlap observed the area to have 2 highchairs, 2 play pens, area rug, mounted TV, manipulative play, dramatic play, library area, science area, math area, soft furnishings, changing station, mounted TV, age-appropriate toys and age-appropriate table and chairs. LPA observed all furnishings, equipment, and material to be in good condition.
LPA Dunlap observed the bathroom with an operable toilet and sink. The cabinet has a safety latch making it inaccessible to children in care.
