32 | Children's napping equipment met regulation at time of inspection. Mats are individually stored and labeled for each child. Storage for children's belongings, bathrooms facilities, and isolation areas were inspected. Age-appropriate sinks and toilets were inspected for availability, good repair, water temperature, toilet paper, safety, and sanitation. LPA observed cubbies with wooden toys, puzzles, books, and other appropriate toys to be clean and free of hazards at time of inspection. LPA observed carpets and age-appropriate tables and chairs in each classroom. LPA observed first aid kept in the cabinets of each classroom. First Aid supplies were inventoried and were found to be in compliance with regulation.
Facility provides breakfast, lunch and snack, menus were reviewed at time of inspection. Food and snack items are properly stored. Food preparation area was toured and found in compliance for safety, cleanliness, and proper storage. Drinking water is provided via filtered water from the kitchen. Carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors are present in the facility. LPA confirmed detectors at time of inspection and stated to be in operable condition per director. Fire extinguishers were observed as serviced on 8/12/2025. Last fire drill was conducted on 1/23/2026.
LPA observed outdoor play area which consists of 3 play yards for each age group, infant, toddler and preschool. Outdoor equipment was inspected for safety, cushioning material, good repair, and age-appropriateness. LPA observed in the preschool play space bikes, sandbox area, sensory tables, a play house, a large shade structure, cubbies with toys and manipulatives, tables and chairs for reading and activities. In the Toddler play space a water and sand table was observed in addition to tables and benches for snack and activities, play house, small balance toys and with carpet and a shade structure. The infant play space had a play house artificial grass for play, shade structure and infant size table and seating as well as other age-appropriate toys around the play yard. Required shade and fencing were inspected. LPA advised Director that the children need to be always within the direct care and visual supervision by the teachers. Per Director, the children have access to drinking water via the children's personal water bottles and those provided by the center. A water dispenser is brought outside for refills. Play area was inspected for hazards and inaccessibility to bodies of water; no bodies of water or hazards observed at time of inspection.
LPA reviewed with Director the LIC 311A, Records to Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted.
