On February 07, 2025, at 9:30 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Elka Chavez and Jeanette Estrada conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Facility Representative Maydaly Garcia. Applicant, Child Lane is requesting to be licensed for (18) infants ages 4 months to 24 months. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Present during today’s inspection were (8) children with (4) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPAs informed Maydaly Garcia that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.

LPAs continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 1056.08 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (18) children. LPAs observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, cribs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Infant toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard.
