LPA Dunlap observed the Kitchen: While an off-limits area, the kitchen was observed to be inaccessible to children via a baby gate. There is a second baby gate used as a barricade that leads to the hallway and kitchen making it inaccessible to children in care.
LPA Dunlap observed the Bathroom: The bathroom features an operable toilet and sink. The cabinets have safety latches making it inaccessible to children in care.
LPA Dunlap observed the Outdoor Play Area (Front Yard): The fenced front yard features a small artificial grass area, age-appropriate toys, picnic tables, balls, playhouse, a small slide with swings, tricycles, scooters, mobile cars, and age-appropriate furnishings. All outdoor furnishings, equipment, and materials were in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts.

A 2A 10BC fire extinguisher with a service tag date of 9/16/25 hung in the in hallway area.
LPA Dunlap observed an operable smoke detector located in hallway area.
LPA Dunlap observed an operable carbon monoxide detector located in bedroom 1.
The Licensee confirmed the following:
Meals are provided for children.
A cell phone is used for communication. The Licensee was reminded that the cell phone must be left at the facility at all times.
No children are currently receiving medication administration.
Sick children are isolated by the door in the bedroom.
There are no firearms in the home.
There are no smokers in the home.
Transportation is provided for children.
A first aid kit is available.
