32 | In regard to the allegation “Staff did not adequately address resident’s inappropriate behaviors”, it is alleged that staff are not taking appropriate actions to prevent a client from harassing and intimidating other clients. During interviews with clients seven (7) out of ten (10) clients felt staff is doing their job adequately and they feel safe. C6 stated staff can’t stop stuff from happening but they will do some about it if they see it. During interviews with staff five (5) out of five (5) feel staff is doing enough to prevent harassment at the facility. S1 stated there is a lot of he said she said with no actual proof. S5 stated they are steps taken with each client verbal warnings, written warnings, and possible evictions.
Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, there is insufficient evidence to support the allegations. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was given to Administrator Joyce Garcia.
