32 | LPA and, Spencer Croasdale toured the physical plant. There were no bodies of water or obstructions on the premises. All rooms were inspected. Beds and bedding supplies were in good condition, adequate lighting provided, storage for client personal belongings was observed. Bed linens, comforters, and bath towels were adequately stocked at the time of visit. Bathrooms were clean and operational. The hot water temperature met Title 22 standards and measured at 117. 9 F degrees. A comfortable temperature was maintained in the facility.
LPA observed the facility to be sanitary and appropriately furnished at the time of visit. Storage areas for personal hygiene, cleaning supplies, toxins, and sharp objects were stored and not accessible to clients. The kitchen was inspected and there is sufficient perishable and non-perishable food available maintained properly. There are two (2) fire extinguishers fully charge located in the hallway near the front door and the back door. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide were operable and in working condition. The last fire/emergency drill was conducted on 06/06/2024.
During the visit, LPA observed the facility infection control practices. LPA observed that the required postings were posted throughout the facility and the facility has a 60-day supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
According to the California Code of Regulations (Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8), LPA did observe deficiencies, and therefore citations were issued for personnel records. An exit interview was conducted. Appeal Rights, and a copy of this report was provided to Spencer Croasdale, Program Supervisor
