25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Mary Flores and Luis Mora conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPAs met with Kimberly Nanong-Yrigoyen - Facility's Director and explained the reason for the visit.
Facility is licensed to served 75 adults in age range 18 and over of which 60 adults may be ambulatory and 15 adults may be non-ambulatory. Facility serves an adult day program capacity and is currently serving clients virtually due to COVID 19. Facility has a lobby/locker/waiting room, a conference room, 7 offices, an isolation room, a computer room, a media room, kitchen, gym, styling room, art room, staff break room, library, 4 restroom and 2 changing rooms.
LPAs conducted a tour of the facility with the director and observed the following:
Restrooms water temperature were tested between 105.4 and 107.9 degrees F which is within the 105 - 120 degrees F. Facility has a fire sprinkle system, and 3 fire extinguishers were observed throughout the facility.
Facility has 3 first aid kits: 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the copy area, 1 in the receptionist desk which contains the required items. Facility will dispose and replace antiseptic lotion as it expired on 9/20. Knives and kitchen cleaning supplies are kept under lock in a cabinet to the right of the stove.
Facility is currently following COVID 19 recommendations regarding COVID 19 signs throughout the facility, social distancing by allowing a number of people in each room, disinfecting products are available in each room and facility is disinfected every 2 hours, upon receiving clients back, the facility will maintain a 1:3 staff/client ratio per director, restrooms have sufficient soap, paper towels, and signs, facility has an isolation room and a cart with PPE supplies, and PPE supplies are stored for 30 days. Fit testing will be provided for designated staff.
No deficiencies were found during this visit. Exit interview was conducted with director Kimberly Nanong - Yrigoyen and a copy of this report was provided. |
