25 | On 08/24/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Don Senaha conducted an unannounced annual required visit with a primary focus on Infection Control measures using the new CARE Inspection Tool. LPA met with caregiver Oscar Pascua and was later joined by Administrator Morkodh Chhuon and explained the purpose of today’s visit. The facility is licensed to operate for four (4) ambulatory adult clients of between the ages of 18 through 59.
The facility is a single-story structure located in a residential neighborhood. It consists of the following: four (4) client rooms, one (1) staff room, three (3) bathrooms, one (1) living area, one (1) family room, a dining area and kitchen. There is an outside shaded patio area in the backyard with a table and ample seating. The laundry area is located in hallway space next to the dining room. There is a two (2) car garage detached and was empty with no cars parked in garage at the time of the visit and also used for storage.
LPA and Administrator toured the physical plant. There were no bodies of water or obstructions on the premises. All rooms were inspected. Beds and bedding supplies were in good condition, adequate lighting provided, storage for client personal belongings was observed. Bed linens, comforters, and bath towels were adequately stocked at the time of visit. Bathrooms were found to be within Title 22 regulations and were clean and operational. The water temperature met Title 22 standards in the bathrooms and kitchen sink and measured between 105.9 F and 107.4 F. A comfortable temperature was maintained in the facility.
