| On 11/20/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Julio Rodriguez conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Leticia Flores. Licensee confirmed Days and hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 4:00 a.m.– 9:00 p.m.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the kitchen, bathroom, living room, play area and outdoor area are used for providing care and are accessible to children. Licensee added an additional play area which is attached to living room area. Licensee has county approved permit for room addition and will submit to community care licensing along with updated facility sketch. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of doorknob spinners and locked doors.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. LPA observed a large bottle of cleaning compound located in kitchen area which is accessible to children. Licensee was directed to secure to cleaning compound. All other Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and hazardous items are made inaccessible by use of locking cabinets.
There are no fireplaces or open face heaters in the home. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a single level home and there are no stairs. Safe toys, materials for children activities, and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (559) 232-8366.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. The outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
