25 | On 3/6/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez and Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) Araceli Gibson conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and was met by licensee, Maria Gutierrez Brito. Also present was licensee’s husband. Licensee is Spanish Speaking and Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez assisted with interpretation. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5:00am to 5:00pm
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that Living Room #1, Living Room #2, dinning area, kitchen, and hallway restroom are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of doorknob spinners.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
Licensee stated that there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace, located in living room #1 that is inaccessible by a screen. There is a wood stove in Living room #2 room that has a glass door. Licensee stated that the fireplace and wood stove will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher (Size/ 2A:10BC), smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a single level home and there are no stairs. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (559) 706-3150.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
