25 | On 7/17/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Anita Tristan and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon, conducted an announced case management inspection. LPA and LPM met with Licensee, Elda Ibarra. LPA and LPM toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the inaccessibility of the above-ground pool in the backyard.
Swimming pool is not fenced per regulation. Both sides of the pools gate do not self-latch or self-close. LPM and LPA opened the two pool gates at various opening widths to ensure the pool gates will self-latch. Pool gates do open away from the swimming pool. There was a kitchen window that has direct access to the pool area. During today's inspection, LPA and LPM reviewed with licensee pool requirements. Licensee started to drain above pool before LPA and LPM left. Licensee shall provide photographs of drained pool. Licensee is planning on removing kitchen window with a non-opening window in the future.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency is being cited. Notice of Site Inspection to be posted for 30 days.
