25 | On 7/25/2023 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Anita Tristan and Gloria Reyes, conducted an announced Case Management- Licensee Initiated Inspection. LPAs met with Licensee, Elda Ibarra. LPAs toured the home inside and outside and no children were present during today's visit. The purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the inaccessibility of the above-ground pool in the backyard.
Swimming pool is fenced per regulation. Both sides of the pools gate self-latch and self-close. Pool gate does open away from the swimming pool. There are wrought iron bars on kitchen window that prevents direct access to the pool area. At time of inspection the pool was empty.
LPA’s reminded Licensee that the bars placed on the Kitchen window would prevent the facility from obtaining a fire clearance for a large day-care license.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency is being cited.
Exit interview conducted with Licensee. Notice of Site Inspection to be posted for 30 days.
