25 | On 7/25/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanson Leong conducted a scheduled case management visit with the Child Care Center (CCC) listed above. The licensee requested to move to a different classroom within the same facility. LPA met with the Director, Nicole Ramirez, and the Manager of Human Services, Julie Young, and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility is currently closed for the summer break.
The school-age program operated in Room 2 and the multipurpose room. The licensee requested Room 2 to be removed from the school-aged program. The licensee requested Room 7 to be added to their school-age program.
LPA observed classroom # 7 to be clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair. The building includes a centralized fire alarm system, a fully charged fire extinguisher, and a fully stocked first aid kit. LPA observed the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the building's high ceilings.
The female bathroom includes 2 sinks and 2 toilets, while the male bathroom includes 2 sinks, 2 toilets, and 2 urinals. The two separate bathrooms used by school-age children provide individual privacy.
The Marin County Fire Department conducted a fire clearance inspection and approved it on 7/23/2024, as required for a change of classrooms for a CCC.
LPA will approve the change of classroom, effective on 7/25/2024.
A copy of today’s report was given to Julie Young.
A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Manager of Human Services, Julie Young.
