25 | On July 7, 2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Naves arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with the Licensee, Andreia Guimaraes. The purpose of the inspection was explained and entry was granted. Present in the home were 10 children (4 infants and 6 preschool age children over the age of 2), being supervised by the licensee and an assistant. All adults present today have received clearance by the department to be working or living in the home.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Licensee provides all foods such as breakfast, morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks for children and filtered water is provided for refill from the sink, if needed.
Day Care Areas: Downstairs room - including the back area for napping purposes (main day care areas), bathroom #3, covered deck and main outdoor deck.
Off Limit Areas: All Upstairs, kitchen, bedroom #1, #2, and #3, bathroom #1 and #2, garden, and garage.
LPA observed that off limit areas were properly barricaded and made inaccessible to the children in care. LPA and Licensee inspected the entire childcare area for Health and Safety hazards. There are multiple carbon monoxide and smoke detectors in the facility. LPA did not test any of the detectors due to children napping. Fully charged fire extinguisher of size 3A40BC was also available in the home, located on the deck. First Aid kit is fully stocked and accessible, located in the day care. Licensee states there are no weapons/guns in the home and LPA did not observe any open bodies of water or pools.
