13 | On May 21, 2026, the Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude a complaint investigation and deliver findings to the center. The investigation addressed concerns alleging that the center discriminated against a disabled day care child. LPA met with the Assistant Director, Landy De Honor, who granted LPA entry to the facility. At the time of the inspection, the Assistant Director and 17 staff members were supervising 70 children, including 48 preschool aged children and 22 toddler aged children. The center was operating within its licensed capacity and met staffing and supervision requirements.
As part of the investigation, the LPA conducted interviews and reviewed enrollment records, communication logs, attendance documentation, and the facility’s personal rights policy. LPA also observed the facility environment and staff child interactions. The information gathered did not provide consistent or corroborating details to support the allegation.
