25 | On 9/29/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanson Leong, made an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit to the Family Child Care Home listed above. The LPA was granted entry by the Licensee, Maria Duran. The purpose of the visit was to follow up with the Licensee's visit on 9/15/2023 regarding the facility's Type A violations for overcapacity and a child sleeping in a baby swing. The LPA explained the purpose of the visit to Ms. Duran. All individuals listed on the facility’s roster have been granted permission to work or be present in a childcare facility.
During today’s visit, the LPA observed Ms. Duran and her two assistants supervising four infants and eight preschool aged children. The facility is operating within its capacity and in accordance with the required ratio of staff to children. The LPA observed that all enrolled children’s parent/legal guardian completed the form LIC 9224, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports, in compliance with Child Care Regulations (CCR). The LPA observed sleeping mats in the living room and playpens in the room designated for sleeping. The LPA also observed that the baby swing had been removed from the facility. Ms. Duran claims that the infant swing was donated.
The violations for overcapacity and a child sleeping in a baby swing that occurred on 9/15/2023 will be cleared on 9/29/2023.
No deficiencies were cited today under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12.
A copy of today’s report and the Cleared POC Letter were given to Maria Duran. The Notice of Site Visit was given to Maria Duran and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Maria Duran. |
