25 | On June 5, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Naves conducted a scheduled, pre-licensing visit. LPA met with the applicant, Edina Morales, and explained the purpose of the visit and was granted entry. Present in the home was licensee and her husband.
Applicant is currently licensed for facility 214005671 with a capacity of 14 children. Applicant submitted a relocation application to department on May 7, 2026. Fire clearance has been obtained. Applicant lives in the home with her husband and 3 minor children and her 2 dogs and a cat who are all vaccinated. Applicant and all adults residing in the home have fingerprint clearance on file.
Applicant plans to operate from 6:30 am to 6:00pm Monday- Friday. Applicant plans to care for children ages 1 year to 8 years old.
The applicant owns the home which is a single story single family home. Home includes a living room, kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, family room, backyard, and a garage.
Applicant will provide a meal service for children in care which consists of breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Food preparation, sanitization and children's allergies were discussed. LPA reminded applicant children who bring their own food to facility must be labeled with the child's individual names.
The DAY CARE AREAS are the living room, family room, bathroom #2, bathroom #3 and backyard. The OFF LIMIT AREAS are 3 bedrooms,bathroom #1,kitchen, dining room and garage. Off limit areas are barricaded with gates and child proof knobs to prevent access. LPA informed the applicant that off limit areas are not to be used as a child care area without prior approval from the department.
