25 | On 4/19/2024, at approximately 9:05AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPA met with Licensee Linda Bates (L1). LPA explained the purpose of the visit. Present during the visit was L1. There were no children in care on this day.
Daycare Areas: Playroom (located in Bungalow in the Backyard), Bathroom (in the home), and Backyard.
Off-limits Areas: Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Bedroom #3, Kitchen, Living Room (Pass Through Only) and Bathroom #2.
LPA inspected the home for any health or safety hazards. LPA observed the daycare areas to be in clean and orderly condition. There is a carbon monoxide detector present that was demonstrated to be operational. There is a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher present in the Playroom. Furniture is age-appropriate and free of rough or sharp edges. There is no fireplace in the home. Electrical outlets are covered or obstructed when not in use to be inaccessible to children in care. There is a first aid kit present in the Playroom that contains bandages and gauze.
LPA observed toys and learning materials to be present in the Playroom. Per L1, they intend to enroll children from 2.9 years to 6 years old. There are mats available for children to nap on. Children will bring bedding from home and take it back once a week to be cleaned. Children will bring lunch from home and the facility will offer snacks. Per L1, there are no firearms or weapons stored in the home.
