25 | On 4/9/2024, at approximately 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jonathan Tse and Diana Alvarado conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPAs met with Licensee Mary Cashman-Daniels (L1). There were no children or helpers present during today’s visit. L1 stated that the facility was currently closed for spring break. The facility is currently undergoing remodeling. The facility’s operating hours are from 7:45AM to 4:45PM.
Daycare Areas: Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Office, Front Yard, and a covered Deck (Playroom).
Off-limits Areas: Master bedroom, Deck (close to the driveway), and the garden area of the Yard.
LPAs inspected the home for any health or safety hazards. LPAs observed the home to be in clean and orderly condition. The home is equipped with two fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguishers. There is a carbon monoxide detector present in the Kitchen that was demonstrated to be operational. LPAs discussed covering electrical outlets with L1. There is a fireplace present in the Living Room that is covered to be inaccessible to children in care. Per L1, there are no firearms present in the facility.
LPAs observed age-appropriate toys and learning materials to be present in the Playroom. There are cribs and pack-and-plays available for children to nap on. Sheets and bedding are washed every other day or as needed. Furniture is age-appropriate and free of rough, loose, or sharp edges. Per L1, children nap in the Living Room, Bedroom #1, and Bedroom #2. Children bring lunch and snacks from home. The facility will provide snacks if necessary.
