25 | On 07/28/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced annual inspection and was met by Licensee, Mercedes Corrales. Also present were Staff #1 (S1) and Staff #2 (S2). LPA Fierro confirmed the home has a working telephone service. All adults who reside or work in the home have a criminal record clearance or exemption, there are no excluded individuals present at this home. Licensee stated days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5:00AM-5:00PM.
Licensee stated there are no firearms, ammunition or bodies of water. There is one pet in the home, licensee understands the liability of pets around day care children and accepts responsibilities of any action taken by pets. LPA did not observe any poisons during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
LPA conducted a census during today’s inspections there were nine (9) children in care, capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. A current facility sketch was reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that the living room, playroom, dining room, bathroom and backyard are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of baby gates.
During today’s inspection LPA toured the home inside and outside. This is a single-story home. LPA observed there are a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Licensee understands to test both smoke detector and carbon monoxide periodically for functionality.
During today’s inspection LPA observed areas, surfaces, carpets, and floors accessible to the children are in operable and sanitary condition. LPA observed the home to have age-appropriate toys, dramatic play
