25 | On 11/19/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martha De Haro conducted a Licensee Initiated Case Management inspection and met with Master Teacher Manuela Verduzco, Education Coordinator Isabel Abundiz, and Assistant Director Paula Smith. LPA explained the reason for the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside.
The interior of the center was recently remodeled for their licensed preschool, which is made up of two (2) rooms, Classroom #2 and Classroom #3. The facility has kept the same preschool capacity of 56 preschool children, ages 2 to 6 years of age.
During the indoor inspection, LPA observed that the flooring, ceiling, and walls in both classrooms were refurbished. LPA observed that the square footage to both classrooms was not decreased. In addition, this LPA was informed that the outdoor play area for the children was left the same.
No health or safety hazards were observed at the center. An approved fire clearance for the newly remodeled building was received by the Department, approving the capacity of 56 preschool children for Classrooms #2 and #3. The facility representative provided an updated facility sketch of the center. The newly remodeled center is approved to begin operating.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited during today’s inspection.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Master Teacher Manuela Verduzco.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
