25 | On 6/23/21 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco conducted an unannounced Annual Required inspection. LPA met with Director, Danielle Waite and toured the facility, both indoors and outdoors. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Firearms and ammunition are not allowed or stored on premises. The facility is in compliance with conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license. Teacher-Child ratios are maintained, and all children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions and medications are inaccessible to children. No poisons were observed during today’s visit. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition with adequate cushioning material and is free of hazards. Playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Areas around high climbing equipment, swings, and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. All toilets, hand washing, and bathing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All floors are clean and safe. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Uncontaminated drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Facility does not transport children. Licensee is aware that children are never to be left in parked vehicles. All kitchen, food prep, and storage areas are clean, free of litter, rubbish, and rodents/vermin. All food is protected from contamination, and contaminated food is discarded immediately. Solid waste storage vessels, including moveable bins, have tight-fitting covers on, are in good repair. All foods/beverages capable of rapid spoiling are stored in covered containers at 45 (F) or less. Menus are posted at least one week in advance, where an authorized representative can view them. Director was unable to locate a functioning carbon monoxide detector. Smoke detectors meet statutory requirements. Fire drills have been conducted and documented with the date and time at least once every six months. Before working or volunteering in a licensed child care facility, all individuals subject to a criminal record review have a clearance or exemption and have been associated to the facility. CCL shall notify a licensee to immediately terminate the employment of, or to remove/bar any person with specified convictions or for other reasons. The licensee shall comply with the notice. Staff records contain appropriate, documentation of education credits.
