On 08/09/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Ka Vang arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced follow-up inspection to conclude the complaint investigation that was initiated on 05/31/2023. LPA met with Licensee, Juan Gama, and Site Supervisor, Andrea Ceja Martinez. A tour of the facility inside and outside were conducted and census was taken. LPA explained and discussed the allegation and the finding with Juan and Andrea.

During the course of the investigation, LPA interviewed daycare staff and parents. LPA also obtained and reviewed pertinent records relevant to the allegation.

Although the allegation may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged allegation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency was cited during today’s inspection.

An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Juan Gama, and Site Supervisor, Andrea Ceja Martinez.
A copy of this report and appeal rights were provided. A note of Site Visit (LIC 9213) form was given to licensee to post, and it must remain posted for 30 days.
