25 | On August 20, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Site Supervisor, Belinda Dillon. Merced County Office of Education is requesting to be licensed for 101 infants and preschoolers ages 2-5 in classrooms H1 (INFANTS), H2 (INFANTS up to the age of 2), H4 (PRESCHOOL), I1(PRESCHOOL), I2 (TODDLER), I3 (TODDLER 18-38 MONTHS), and I4 (18MO-24MO). Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-5:30PM. LPA toured the facility and measured.
Total indoor activity space measured 4.676.36, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 101 children. H1 (25 INFANTS), H2 (21 INFANTS up to the age of 2), H4 (18 PRESCHOOL), I1(22 PRESCHOOL), I2 (17 TODDLER), I3 (14 TODDLER 0-38 MONTHS), and I4 (12 0 MO-24MO).
LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots/mats/cribs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. LPA observed a total of (12) sinks and (14) toilets available for children’s use. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via water fountains. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children.
The facility currently has two playground areas. Shade is provided via umbrellas and canopies. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on both playgrounds. There is one climbing structure on each playground for children ages 2-5yrs. which are properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones provided by pour of place. Drinking water is available via water dispensers. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property.
